Atlys Launches Visa for Just ₹1 for Indians Traveling to 15+ Countries
Indians planning to travel to popular destinations such as the UAE, UK, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, South Africa, Egypt, Hong Kong, Georgia, Oman, Morocco, Qatar, Kenya, and Taiwan can now apply for visas for just ₹1.
In a groundbreaking initiative, Atlys is launching “Atlys One Way Out,” which marks the country’s first-ever visa sale.
What’s Included in the Offer
According to the company’s website, this offer may fully cover both Atlys service fees and government charges for e-Visa destinations that do not require passport submission. For visa processes requiring physical visits, it will cover only the Atlys service fee, with exceptions for specific countries like the United Kingdom.
This visa sale applies to select destinations listed on the Atlys website. For e-Visa countries, both service and government fees might be included. However, for in-person visa destinations, this offer generally covers only the Atlys service fees, unless stated otherwise—for example, UK applications are fully covered as a special inclusion.
The sale will take place exclusively on the Atlys website for two days: August 4th and 5th.
During the two-day sale, appointment bookings for destinations that require physical visits, like the United States and select Schengen countries, will also be available for just ₹1.
For U.S. and Schengen countries, the ₹1 pricing only covers the Atlys service fee and appointment booking fee. All other government fees, including visa costs and biometric fees, are to be paid directly by the applicant.
The ₹1 Visa Sale Process
To participate, applicants must upload a valid Indian passport, a passport-sized photograph, and any required supporting documentation, such as financial proofs or travel itineraries, as required by the destination country’s consulate or embassy.
A report by the European Commission and Condé Nast Traveller revealed that Indian applicants lost over ₹664 crore in non-refundable visa fees across various countries in 2024.
In the last 60 days, Atlys has noticed a surge in search inquiries for a range of destinations, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Georgia, the United Kingdom, and the UAE. Growth rates have been significant, ranging between 18% and 44% compared to earlier periods.
This rising interest primarily comes from users in tier 1 and tier 2 cities, significantly driven by Generation Z and millennials, with a considerable portion of the interest being from first-time travelers.
