Endurance Technologies’ Strategic Expansion and Collaborations in South Africa

Johannesburg, South Africa – August 11, 2025

Endurance Technologies, a leading Indian automotive component manufacturer, has been actively expanding its footprint in South Africa through strategic partnerships and product innovations. Notably, the company has engaged in discussions with major automotive manufacturers, including Hyundai and Volkswagen, to supply components for their electric and hybrid vehicles. These negotiations aim to secure approximately €45 million in new business, with Endurance Technologies targeting a 50% share of this potential contract. (marklines.com)

In February 2024, Endurance Technologies commenced the commercial production of printed circuit boards with embedded electronics for Battery Management Systems (BMS) and other applications. This initiative, launched at their existing manufacturing facility in Waluj, Aurangabad, signifies the company’s commitment to advancing electric vehicle technologies. (business-standard.com)

This buyback, completed on March 14, 2025, reflects the company’s strategic consolidation of its European operations. (marklines.com)
