Gary Kirsten Joins Yugen Infra for Cricket Villas and School Sports Facilities
Yugen Infra will also establish an international school that integrates sports facilities, with Kirsten overseeing the development. This collaboration aims to enhance educational experiences with a strong focus on sports.
Yugen Infra’s Managing Director, Sheeshram Yadav, shared details about the initiative, stating that they plan to develop 30 exclusive Cricket-Front Villas. He emphasized that Kirsten would play a vital role in designing sports facilities, particularly for cricket and chess, at the new international school.
The overall investment for both the villa project and school is estimated to be around ₹180 crore.
Kirsten remarked on the partnership, noting, “India has a very strong sporting culture.” He expressed the goal of merging educational frameworks with sports training, citing his experience from South Africa in fostering a child’s holistic development.
As a coach of the Indian cricket team that clinched the 2011 World Cup, Kirsten views this as an exciting new chapter.
The school and villa initiative is part of a larger 500-acre development known as Yugen Golf City, positioned along the border of Goa and Maharashtra.
