The day’s proceedings consisted of empowering guest speakers, who shared nuggets of wisdom and empowerment, classical dancers, who captivated guests with their poised moves, Zumba fitness to keep the ladies energised, and a ‘Women In Percussion’ aspect, bringing delight to all! Durban’s very own Parusha Naidoo (Tabla.G) and Shivanka Moonilall were two of the many artists invited to perform at the special event.

Naidoo shared, “As ‘Women In Percussion, we presented a drum musical piece with the aim to inspire a room full of ladies as well as to remind them of their inner rhythm and to just join in, clap along, and enjoy the day. The atmosphere was filled with joy, cheer, and excitement as we came together to celebrate the bond that is sisterhood.”

The celebration came to a close with a wonderful high tea.
