Natco Pharma’s Strategic Acquisition of Adcock Ingram: A New Chapter in South African Pharmaceuticals

In a significant move to expand its footprint in the African pharmaceutical market, Hyderabad-based Natco Pharma Limited has announced a firm intention to acquire a 35.75% stake in South African pharmaceutical company Adcock Ingram Holdings Limited. Natco Pharma, which currently holds a 0.80% stake in Adcock Ingram, plans to purchase over 5.1 million shares from minority shareholders.
