In a landmark move, Reliance New Energy Solar Ltd, the renewable energy arm of India’s Reliance Industries, acquired a 40% stake in Sterling & Wilson Solar Ltd. The agreement involves the development, design, construction, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants totaling 961 MWp across five locations in Nigeria, complemented by battery energy storage systems with a combined capacity of 455 MWh.
