Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL), a global leader in renewable energy solutions, has significantly expanded its footprint in South Africa, underscoring its commitment to advancing the nation’s clean energy sector.

Securing Major Projects

In October 2025, SWREL was awarded a Letter of Intent (LoI) for a 115 MWp DC solar photovoltaic (PV) project in South Africa, valued at approximately $120 million. This project marks SWREL’s third venture in the country, following the successful execution of two previous projects. The company is slated to complete these projects by the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027. (mercomindia.com)
