Dabur’s Strategic Expansion in South Africa’s Personal Care Market

Johannesburg, August 15, 2025 – Dabur South Africa (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of India’s leading FMCG company Dabur International Ltd, has significantly bolstered its presence in the South African personal care sector through a series of strategic acquisitions.

In April 2018, Dabur completed the acquisition of two South Africa-based companies—D&A Cosmetics Proprietary Ltd and Atlanta Body & Health Products Proprietary Ltd. Earlier, in April 2017, Dabur had acquired the personal, hair care, and creams businesses of the CTL Group of Companies for approximately $1.5 million.
